Alex Alice<\/b> est un auteur de bande-dessin\u00e9es et un artiste fran\u00e7ais, travaillant en France et parfois aux \u00c9tats-Unis. N\u00e9 en 1974, il a grandi dans le sud de la France et a eu la chance de voyager \u00e0 travers l\u2019Europe o\u00f9 il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une passion pour les ruines et les ch\u00e2teaux des \u00e2ges m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux et romantiques. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cette passion a impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 son art, du sinistre cadre m\u00e9di\u00e9val du thriller \u00e9sot\u00e9rique <\/span>Le Troisi\u00e8me Testament<\/i><\/span> (1997-2003, co\u00e9crit avec Xavier Dorison) au monde primitif et mythique de <\/span>Siegfried<\/i><\/span> (2007-2011), un r\u00e9cit op\u00e9ratique de la saga nordique du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre tueur de dragons.<\/span> Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats vont du <\/span>cin\u00e9ma<\/b><\/span> et de l\u2019<\/span>animation <\/b><\/span>\u00e0 la<\/span> peinture<\/b><\/span> et \u00e0 l\u2019<\/span>illustration<\/b><\/span> (il a re\u00e7u deux prix Spectrum Fantastic Art pour ses couvertures), en passant par les beaux-arts et la sculpture. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sa s\u00e9rie en cours est son \u0153uvre la plus personnelle \u00e0 ce jour. Dans <\/span>Le Ch\u00e2teau dans les \u00e9toiles<\/i><\/span>,<\/span><\/b> il s\u2019inspire de Jules Verne et du romantisme du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle pour cr\u00e9er un monde d\u2019aventures et d\u2019\u00e9merveillement en aquarelle, qui enchantera les adultes comme les jeunes lecteurs. Une exposition sp\u00e9ciale sur cette s\u00e9rie a \u00e9t\u00e9 produite en 2017 par le festival international de la bande dessin\u00e9e d\u2019Angoul\u00eame, pr\u00e9sentant 70 pi\u00e8ces d\u2019art originales ainsi que des costumes, des accessoires et des maquettes. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie de deux expositions personnelles \u00e0 la Galerie Maghen \u00e0 Paris (en 2018 et 2020).
