About the artist
Moon began his artistic journey with a foray into graffiti in the 90s. After a few years of self-instructed drawing, he attended art school, which led to work as a graphic designer and art director, eventually teaching graphic design for a few years. Today he is entirely devoted to developing his own personal universe with his highly imaginative drawings and paintings, under the pseudonym Moon.
His creations are broadly described as “Polychröm Symbiosis” with the symbiosis of humans and plants being the dominant theme, surrealistically illustrated, transcendent and dream-like. His illustrated artwork is displayed in galleries, published in art books, and presented on social networks.
Drizzle is his fifth book after 365 Squares vol. 1, Circus of Souls, 365 Squares vol. 2 and Exploration.
Drizzle will appeal to illustration lovers with its silent stories, vibrant colours and strange atmosphere. It took countless hours to create Drizzle. You will see lots of colour, characters and captivating images inside, all painstakingly created by myriads of fine lines.
These lines inspired the title of the book :
One day, my daughter told me that the hatch fillings reminded her of “the little rain”, the DRIZZLE.
