Caurette Editions are pleased to announce our new project: a collaboration with Ashley Wood for an art book entitled AWD! Ashley Wood is an Australian artist. Illustration genius, he also mastered many fields such as painting, game design and comics. He was internationally renowned and won awards such as the Spectrum Award of Excellence (2002), the Spectrum Award of Avertising or the Special Guest of San Diego Comics Con International. In addition to exhibiting his illustrations and works, today he works in the design of characters and artistic concepts for television, cinema and comics. Los ángeles est dans... Le magazine français Première, grand nom du journalisme cinématographique, nous a consacré quelques pages dans leur numéro spécial à l'occasion de l'anniversaire de Gladiator. Première, magazine bi-mensuel publié depuis 1976, est une référence dans le cinéma français. Aujourd'hu,i Gladiator est à l'honneur dans un numéro spécial Première Classics #12! Sophie Benamon retrace le travail de Sylvain Despretz, un de nos artistes, sur l'un des plus grands films du cinéma hollywoodien de Ridley Scott lors d'un article de plusieurs pages, enrichi d'interviews et de citations.  Sylvain Despretz est un storyboarder français qui a travaillé pour les plus grands films hollywoodiens. As you know it, Los ángeles is funded on crowdfunding platforms… and we nailed it! We are glad to announce that, after 2 weeks of campaign, we raised more than 50 000 € on both platforms. It’s huge! In fact, we lead two campaigns simultaneously on two websites: Kickstarter for the English version and KissKissBankBank for the French and English one. Today, we already have more than 480 people supporting our project, excited to receive the book and even more, all the goodies released with the stretch goals: poster, prints, bookmarks and postcards… there will  be something for everyone and it’s far from being over!
